Link destination
Fill in the fields to see the link.
When tapped, it opens your Telegram profile, ready to chat.
How it works
- Enter your @username. With or without the @. It is the name shown on your Telegram profile, under Settings.
- Create the link. You get a short CriarMeuLink address that leads to
t.me/yourname, plus its QR code. - Test and share. Open the link on another device and check it lands in the right chat. Then paste it wherever you need it.
When Telegram makes more sense than WhatsApp
Support without sharing your number
On Telegram, people talk to your @username, not your phone number. If you serve customers from your personal phone, that keeps work and private life apart without a second SIM.
Communities, courses and channels
Teachers, creators and study groups use Telegram channels and groups because they hold thousands of members and keep files organised. A short link in your bio or video description takes your audience straight there.
Developer and crypto communities
Many open source, developer and crypto projects use Telegram as their main support channel. A contact link in your site footer or project README shortens the path to help.
Posters, events and print
The link's QR code works on event banners, talk slides and badges. Scan it and the chat or group opens.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Telegram username?
Yes. The link points to your @username. To create one, open Telegram, go to Settings, tap Username and pick a name with at least 5 characters, using letters, numbers and underscores.
Does the link show my phone number?
No. People who open the link see your name and @username. Your number only shows if you allow it under Settings, Privacy and Security, Phone Number.
Does it work for public channels and groups?
Yes. Public channels and groups have a @name too, and a t.me/name link opens them in Telegram. For private groups, use the invite link Telegram creates for you.
What if the person doesn't have Telegram installed?
On a phone they see a Telegram page with a button to install the app. On a computer, the same page offers Telegram Desktop or Telegram Web.
Can I change my @username later?
Yes, but the old link stops working because it points to the old name. If you created the link with a CriarMeuLink account, edit the destination in your dashboard and the same short link opens the new name.
Why use a CriarMeuLink link instead of t.me directly?
A t.me link works, but CriarMeuLink adds a print-ready QR code and, with an account, click counts and the option to change the destination without changing the link you shared.
Good practice
- Pick a username that is easy to say out loud. Avoid random digits and underscores in the middle. You will spell it out more often than you think.
- Say what happens on click. "Message me on Telegram" beats a lone icon; not everyone recognises the paper plane.
- Use one link per source. One for your bio, another for the event QR code. With an account, the report splits the clicks.
- Check your profile privacy first. Before sharing, review who can see your number, photo and last seen under Settings.
