Create an email link with a ready subject line
Whoever clicks opens a new email already addressed to you, with a suggested subject and text. You get organised messages that are easy to filter.

Link destination
Fill in the fields to see the link.
- To
- Your contact
- Subject
- (no subject)
(no message)
It opens the person's email app with the recipient, subject and message filled in.
How it works
- Enter the address that will receive the email. For example [email protected].
- Suggest a subject and message. The subject helps you filter your inbox: "Quote - website", "Application - sales associate". The body can be a prompt: "Name, city and what you need".
- Create and test. You get the short link and QR code. Behind them is
mailto:[email protected]?subject=...&body=....
Where to use an email link
Signatures and newsletter footers
A "Reply to a human" link in your newsletter footer, with a set subject, separates real replies from auto-responses and shows there is a person on the other end.
Hiring
In a job post on LinkedIn or Instagram, a link with the subject "Application - Office assistant" makes every application arrive with the same subject, easy to find.
B2B and formal requests
Quotes, invoices and contracts still go by email. A link with a short checklist in the body ("Company, quantity, deadline") saves a round trip.
Press and partnerships
In a creator's bio, a "Partnerships" link with a set subject keeps business proposals apart from fan mail.
Frequently asked questions
What is a mailto link?
A link starting with mailto that opens the visitor's email app with a new message. It can carry the recipient, subject and body, as in mailto:[email protected]?subject=Quote.
Why not put the mailto link straight on Instagram?
Instagram, WhatsApp and most networks only make https links clickable. A CriarMeuLink link is an https address that redirects to mailto, so it works anywhere.
Nothing happens when I click the link on my computer. Why?
The computer has no default email app set up. Gmail users can make Gmail the handler for mailto links in Chrome under Privacy and security, Site settings, Protocol handlers.
Is the email sent automatically?
No. The email opens as a draft and the person reviews, completes and sends it. No link can send an email by itself.
Will spam bots harvest my address?
The address is in the link destination, as with any mailto. A short link keeps it off the page, which reduces automated harvesting but does not stop it. Use a contact address rather than your personal one.
Can I add more recipients or a CC?
The link is created for one recipient. If a team needs the message, use a group address such as hello@ or sales@ that forwards to everyone.
Good practice
- Use the subject as a label. Standard subjects let you build filters and rules in your inbox.
- Write the body like a short form. Two or three questions, one per line. People complete it instead of starting from a blank page.
- Say it is email. "Send an email" on the button, not just an envelope icon, so nobody expects a chat.
- Reply quickly at first. An email left unanswered for two days sends people looking for another channel. If you need longer, say so in the suggested message.
